While Charles will argues that if you do not vote then you have no right to complain and should keep your mouth shut, he misses the point completely. Some Moncton dentists are speaking out against a campaign to remove fluoride from drinking water in the southeastern New Brunswick city.

A group of residents called Fluoride Free Moncton says there’s a risk of getting too much fluoride, and people should have a choice to have it in their local water supply.

But local dentists say not fluoridating the water would put a segment of the population at risk.

Dr. Suzanne Drapeau-McNally, who is a member of a group that donates dental work to under-privileged families, said many of the patients don’t own a toothbrush, so having fluoride in the water and providing it at school is critical.

Drapeau-McNally said making it optional could create a stigma for children from low-income families.

“When you give a choice, then you seperate you say, ‘You’re poor, you get the fluoride. You, you’re rich, you have everything, you don’t have to have the fluoride.’ I don’t care for that,” Drapeau-McNally said.

Fluoride in drinking water is often credited with reducing cavities. However, it has also been linked to a reported increase in spots on some children’s teeth. (read the rest of the story here)

Dr. Paul Connett, Professor of Chemistry at St. Lawrence University in New York, gives a damning interview on the history of water fluoridation, the collusion of major industries to put certified toxic waste into your drinking water, and why government health authorities refuse to conduct scientific studies into the dangers of fluoridation. After watching this video, you will never look at tap water the same way again.

Connett describes how he initially thought people who opposed fluoridation were “a bunch of whackos,” before conducting his own research which found that sodium fluoride was a toxic substance that contributed to a wide array of health defects. Heavy industry is barred from dumping this toxic waste into the sea by international law, but being able to sell it enables them to remove its hazardous characteristic and it becomes a product, explains Connett, polluting not only our water supply but also toothpaste and thousands of different foods.

Connett provides a detail run down of the many health problems caused by fluoride consumption, including dental fluorosis, which the Centers For Disease Control just recently announced was a problem for 41 per cent of children aged 12-15 in the United States, clearly indicating that children are being over-exposed to fluoride and that this is affecting other tissues and organs in the body, including bone disorders, a problem also wreaking havoc amongst adults in the United States as one in three now suffer from arthritis, which again is being caused by a build-up of toxic fluoride in the body. Connett also points to fluoride’s connection with thyroid disorders.

There have now been over 100 studies involving animals which show that fluoride damages the brain, stresses Connett, which is a particular concern for newborn babies who are susceptible to fluoride build up because of their weak blood-brain barrier. Connett cites numerous studies which prove a link between moderate exposure to fluoride and lowered IQ in children.

Fluoride’s impact on the pineal gland, which is a piece of brain tissue that sits in-between the two hemispheres of the brain, is key because fluoride attracts to this gland like a magnet. Researchers have found through animal studies that fluoride lowers the ability of the pineal gland to produce the hormone melatonin, which in turn shortens the time it takes to reach puberty, correlating with studies of fluoridated communities that show girls are on average menstruating 5 months earlier than those in non-fluoridated communities. Children are entering puberty at increasingly early stages and this is causing widespread concern, but health authorities have made no effort whatsoever to conduct any studies regarding this development and its link to fluoride.

Is David Ganong a scumbag? He has publicly called for the New Brunswick Government to go back on its election promise to not raise the HST in an effort to pay down the debt. Why should NBers face ‘tough’ choices? We did not blow taxpayer money. We are not the guilty ones. We have multi-million $$$ corporations that have been given millions in tax breaks, grants, and forgivable loans.

We have caps on soft-tissue injuries from auto accidents, under the guise that our rates would be kept low. I have a perfect driving record and mine rises annually. So does everyone else I talk to.

I have already wrote this government off because they are, in effect, blaming us for the financial mess of NB. They are no different than what we just booted to the curb.

Wall Street bond rating agencies have already hurled their first salvo, their first weapon of mass financial destruction at NB by threatening to lower our credit rating if NBers do not get their debt under control. Why should we in NB be servants to Wall Street Financial Terrorists. This was a threat from a foreign enemy. We are under banking financial occupation.

We could follow the lead of the state of North Dakota that created a state-owned bank. In other words they have their own little central bank and can make money out of thin air, just like Wall Street does. We do not need to suck up to our captors in order to get them to buy bonds from us to finance our government and finance our debt. We could do it ourselves. The problem is that we keep electing the same crap into power every 4 years. No one wants to be bold and buck the system to do something that will really benefit New Brunswickers.

Albert Einstein once said “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is insanity”. He has described the New Brunswick Electorate perfectly.

Corporate New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Government are suffering from Stockholm syndrome. They are in love with our captors and will do their bidding, while giving them our money.

Sodium Fluoride is added to many water supplies in New Brunswick, Moncton and Saint John being examples. This toxin is also added to most toothpaste brands. Sodium Fluoride is waste product generated from such things as the manufacturing of aluminum.

It is not even close to the same compound that can appear naturally in drinking water. This additive is a known neurotoxin that can cause debilitating medical conditions with long-term exposure. Therefore, if elected, I will ban any product that contains the additive sodium fluoride from New Brunswick. All water supply managers will be instructed to stop adding this material to drinking water immediately after I am elected ruler of New Brunswick.

• The Pension Plan for provincial employees will no longer be managed by the Province, nor used as a slush fund by the politicians. This money will be put under direct control of the employees. They can invest their money however they want.

• All private pension plans in the province of New Brunswick will be afforded a special creditor status. This status will be above and beyond, Secured Creditor status, whereby the employees or pensioned former employees will be the first creditor paid in the event of bankruptcy. In fact employees will have the option to take over the failed company. To minimize a company’s ability to raid pension plans, all pension plan expenditures outside of actual paid retiree benefits must be approved by a public watchdog.

I have a plan to end this reign of Financial Terrorism but you must help me accomplish this. So with that being said I am tossing my hat into the ring.

I am not a ‘legal’ candidate as I have not gone through the dog-and-pony show that is part of the failed political process, but nothing stops you from voting for me as a ‘write-in’ on the ballot. All that you need to do to vote for me is write ‘I vote for Mad Ape’. If enough of you do this then a political statement will be made. If a few thousand vote for me I can be elected to turn around this sad-sacked excuse of a government we have in New Brunswick.

This is not a joke. I am dead serious and have prepared my idea for the future of New Brunswick:

THE MAD APE’s MANUAL TO GOOD GOVERNANCE IN NEW BRUNSWICK

First off I started this whole thing because I have realized that New Brunswick has become a cesspool of corporate greed, cronyism, and bullshit.

So I decided that my vote is to to reject the entire political system and hope that I can convince everyone to vote for me as a write-in candidate on the ballot.

My platform is simple:

• The Mad Ape promises to cut the NB personal (not corporate) income tax rate by 50% and promises not to cut services…well one service will be eliminated…that will come later.

• The Mad Ape promises that a certain percentage of government revenue will be used to fund volunteer agencies. I am thinking of a matching system. For every dollar donated by a citizen, then a dollar will be donated by government.

• Once I get a chance to have a forensic audit of the true value of the NB Government, I plan on reducing personal taxes even further (hopefully to 0), I will start with a review of the prospectus given to Wall Street, outlining why buying NB Bonds is a profitable venture. This is known as the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report or by the acronym CAFR; because everyone loves acronyms.The assets used to fund the Corporation of the Government of New Brunswick contain billions of dollars that are not included in any budget.

• The government of New Brunswick, under me, will not borrow money from any bank.

• The government of New Brunswick will not provide loan guarantees. Hence this is the one government service that department that will be eliminated. Don’t worry employees, I will not lay any of you off. You will be reassigned.

• There will be a flat corporate income tax rate for all companies, no matter how much money they earn. Percentage to be determined later but it will be fair and less than what you pay now.

• That being said, there will be no tax breaks for any corporation. Bribing the government with jobs will be declared an illegal act. If you want to come to New Brunswick to set up shop you will do so because of the favorable business climate that NB will have to offer.

• Lobbyists of government will not only be banned, but will be declared illegal.

• The government of New Brunswick will replace the Crown Lands and Forest Act. Mill owners will not be allowed to hold Crown Licenses. The Forests of NB will immediately switch to a Community-based system, where sound science and community values will govern harvest practices.

• High quality, value-added products will be strongly encouraged, with a buy NB Made Products campaign.

• A new government department will be created to oversee higher education within the province of New Brunswick. It will be separate from the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission and will be an initiative that allows ALL New Brunswick Residents to attend a New Brunswick-based University or Community College  for free, provided the graduate works for a New Brunswick-based company for at least 5 years, post graduation.New Brunswick businesses will finance this with 5% of all business taxes financing it.There will be a “Higher NB Graduates First Policy” that will rebate portions of their business taxes. On the same token business must pay fair market value for their staff. It will be based on regional wages.People who do not graduate will either have to pay the government back or do volunteer work for a recognized charity. The process of inclusiveness in the classroom, where debilitated students disrupt a classroom setting will be a thing of the past. This is political correctness gone too far.

• I will roll back the MLA pension raise that Charles Leblanc constantly bitches about.

Now here is where you may get a little nervous but hear me out

• I will sell off NB Power. However, it will be sold to the citizens of New Brunswick only. No corporate ownership, only personal ownership. Each New Brunswicker will have the opportunity to buy shares (up to a maximum of 10,000). If you want to pay a little bit extra in your bill each month you can acquire shares on a pay-as-you go plan.100% of the ownership will be offered, with the government holding shares until they are sold. New Brunswickers, holding shares, will decide how to manage the corporation that they own.

• I will install toll booths on the Trans Canada and make it a user-pay system, not a tax payer system.

• I will strive for the twining of the highway from Fredericton to Saint John, Fredericton to Bathurst, and Moncton to Bathurst. This will be a toll-based system.

• New Brunswick will be declared a Legal Marijuana Zone and a source of tax revenue. If the Feds or RCMP try to run roughshod over me for this then steps will be taken to create a NB Police Community and kick all Federal agents and employees involved in law enforcement out of NB. Exceptions will be made to those that want to join the NB Police Community. (I dropped the word force because police will no longer be agents of force in this province. They will be living by the motto “To Serve and Protect” and by God that will mean something in New Brunswick.

• I will declare that the first Monday in February will be a stat holiday.

• I will declare that no legal action can be taken against the government by corporations as a result of the new governance of NB. Any constitutional challenges will be met with the Not Withstanding Clause of the Canadian Constitution. Any NAFTA challenges will be ignored. Let the Feds handle it as they love to kiss American ass. We will manage just fine.

• The practice of doubling property taxes on income properties will be repealed.

• The Provincial portion of the HST will be reduced from 8% to 5%. Any item such as housing or automobiles will be tax free.

• The cap on soft-tissue injuries will be removed. Increases in insurance rates will be met with the creation of a Provincial Insurance Agency, owned by NB residential shareholders. See NB Power above.

• I strongly believe in equality. With that in mind the same laws and treaty right, Under the Indian Act, that apply to First Nations, with respect to forestry, fishing, and hunting, shall be afforded to all New Brunswickers. At this time I have not come up with a way to prevent abuse, but if we follow the Indian’s lead will shall do fine, for they are great stewards of the land.

• On Policing – Policing by force will be a thing of the past. Police abuse will not be tolerated. Charlie Veitch will be brought to New Brunswick to teach all Police Officers on how to respect humanity. You will never see a security control grid in New Brunswick, like there was in Toronto at the G20. All police officers, in order to be employed, or remain employed will be subject to random drug tests, in particular testing for steroids. If marijuana is found in their system they will be given a pat on the back, along with a cookie and a glass of milk. They will be given 1 year to get clean and then the testing will begin. If any police officer working in New Brunswick, RCMP included, refuses to be tested then they will be dismissed or, in the RCMP’s case, kicked out of New Brunswick. There will be compliance from RCMP Head Office or else they will be replaced with a New Brunswick Police Force. An autonomous police watchdog group will be given subpoena powers to investigate police wrongdoing. There will be no more cops investigating cops.

• The term limits of an elected government will be increased to 10 years because that is the minimum time required to get shit done.

• That being said, a mechanism will be developed where local ridings can call their elected representative to task. If he or she is not representative of their electorate then they can be turfed. There will be no more cronyism.

• My annual salary will be $3,000,000 and 100% tax free. I will pay my own expenses for everything out of that. That includes my office staff, travel costs, trips to Tim’s, office furniture, First Ministers Conference, etc.

This is my first post on this subject. Stay tuned for more policy announcements. Let’s get this done.  Let’s get rid of  the Casino Gulag in New Brunswick. To do your part spread the word using social media. Let’s stop these Kleptocrats once and for all!

I was always a skeptic when it came to chemtrails but now I have been convinced. On Friday, May 21, 2010 while driving near Juniper, New Brunswick, Canada I observed a series of aircraft laying them down on what was a beautiful clear spring day.

There are numerous conspiracies surrounding chemtrails but I do not have the educational background or knowledge to comment on why they exist. Fact of the matter is that they do exist so we need to ask why.

I first noticed the chemtrails while driving down a back road in rural NB, approximately 30 km southeast of Juniper.I saw a small mountain in the distance and drove to the top of it so I could get a better view. Have a look and decide for yourself:

Some say this is part of the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) – While there is no denying the existence of HAARP, whether it has gone past the research stage and is now weaponized is the conspiracy theory.

Whether it is part of a US Military Weapons system or not, whatever is being dumped in our upper atmosphere is pollution. Are we being exposed to toxins? Why is the Canadian government allowing this crap to be sprayed in our airspace?

Another Canadian dies helping guard and distribute the poppy crop of Afghanistan. Col. Geoff Parker, 42, of CFB Gagetown was killed in on May 18, 2010 in Kabul, the result of a suicide car bomb attack.

WHY? WHY? WHY? CANADIANS NEED TO GET IT INTO THEIR THICK SKULLS that the CIA bought off the Warlords by allowing them to ramp up their poppy production and increase heroin production by 85% since NATO became involved in this conflict.

It was supposed to quell support for the Taliban but when you kill innocent men women and children not even the Warlords can stop dirt poor folk from joining the devil they know to get rid of the devil they do not.

Canada is doing absolutely dick in the grand scheme of helping the Afghans. They don’t want us there. They want to be left alone and we should grant them their wish.

This is the harsh reality of the situation and you will never hear about it on the the news.

So how many more will die for the sake of heroin? How many more times will we have to hear that hack Don Cherry rant and rave about something he does not understand?

By the way…this story caught my eye because the military base that Col. Parker was stationed at was CFB Gagetown, approximately a 10-minute drive from my house.

A Canadian colonel was among 18 people killed Tuesday in a suicide car bombing in Kabul.

The Canadian was identified as Col. Geoff Parker, 42, who had been the commanding officer of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment, a mechanized unit based at CFB Gagetown, N.B. He is the highest-ranking Canadian Forces member to die in Afghanistan.

“Col. Parker was in Kabul to interact with the various international organizations there in order to prepare his team for their upcoming mission,” said Col. Simon Hetherington, the deputy commander of Task Force Kandahar.

“As a battalion commander, he led his soldiers from the front and with distinction. The post he was preparing to fill was important and of such high profile, he was hand-picked from across the army to do so. A rising star. His potential was undeniable.”

Parker was born and raised in Oakville, Ont. A 1990 graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Parker was married with a son and a daughter, according to his military biography.

Parker is the 145th member of the Canadian Forces to die in Afghanistan since the current mission began in 2002.

Earlier Tuesday., U.S. forces spokesman Col. Wayne Shanks confirmed that five of the dead were American.

“I strongly condemn the suicide attack today in Kabul, which has led to the death of Afghan civilians and ISAF soldiers, and injuries to many more Afghans,” NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said in a statement.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the blasts, which happened early Tuesday in a west Kabul neighbourhood near an army recruitment centre and many government buildings.

President Hamid Karzai condemned the attack, saying women and children were among the victims.
12 Afghan civilians killed

At least 12 Afghan civilians were killed and 47 people were injured in the attack, which struck at least five NATO vehicles, a bus and a number of private cars.

“It was morning rush hour, the street packed with traffic, the sidewalk crowded with pedestrians,” journalist Tom Popyk said, noting that American troops moved into the area after the blast to assist with rescue efforts.

“I saw one person lying on the ground with no head,” said Mirza Mohammad, who was on his way to work when the blast happened up the road.

Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid told The Associated Press in a phone call from an undisclosed location that the bomber was a man from Kabul and his car was packed with 750 kilograms of explosives. The attacker targeted foreign forces, he said.

Tuesday’s bombing is the deadliest attack on NATO forces in the capital since September, when a suicide blast killed six Italian soldiers.

The attack comes as NATO readies a major offensive in the southern province of Kandahar, a major Taliban stronghold.

Feds File Secret Charge in Court

Tight-lipped | Federal prosecutor won’t reveal charge, nature of warrant, accused

A secret federal charge was filed in Fredericton provincial court Monday, and a judge issued a secret arrest warrant.

Officials declined to say what the charge is, who’s charged and why the arrest warrant was issued despite the principle that the Canadian justice system is meant to be open and transparent.

Crown prosecutor Monica McQueen with the Public Prosecution Service of Canada’s Halifax office appeared briefly in provincial court in Fredericton before Judge Graydon Nicholas on Monday afternoon.

An officer accompanying her swore an information before the judge, and it was filed with the court.

An information is the official document detailing a criminal or quasi-criminal charge for a court, listing the accused, the charge, and the time and place of the alleged offence.

McQueen asked for an arrest warrant – presumably for the accused person listed on the information – be issued, and Nicholas granted the request.

The prosecutor said in open court she didn’t want to get into details about the charge or warrant.

No publication ban was requested, and the judge issued no such order.

When asked by a reporter about the nature of the charge once the court was in recess, McQueen declined to reveal any information.

Staff members at the provincial court office also told The Daily Gleaner they were instructed not to reveal any details about the charge,

the arrest warrant or the identity of the accused.

Workers in the provincial court office said the information and arrest warrant were sealed.

Informations filed with a court are considered public documents.

In the past, The Daily Gleaner has obtained names, charges and even addresses of accused persons listed on informations once they’ve been sworn before a judge.

Search warrants granted by the courts can be sealed. For example, a search warrant issued in a drug case based on a tip from a confidential informant can be sealed, and details can be redacted from such warrants when the defence asks to see them in preparation for trial.

However, sealed or secret charges and arrest warrants are unusual.

Marc Bourgeois, president of the New Brunswick Criminal Defence Lawyers’ Association, said such secretive dealings are uncommon and run contrary to the philosophy that Canadian courts are open to the public.

“The public has a right to know who’s being charged with what,” he said.

After being contacted by The Daily Gleaner on Monday afternoon, Bourgeois conducted research and discovered a scenario through which a charge and identity of an accused might be kept from the media and the public.

He said if a charge were laid and arrest warrant issued in relation to a security certificate under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, officials might be able to keep details such as an accused’s identity and the charge a secret.

However, he said, officials would still be required to reveal the legislation that allows them to withhold such information.

Security certificates issued under the act allow federal officials to detain or deport individuals for reasons of national security.

Such situations are uncommon, Bourgeois said, and they’re generally associated with terrorism investigations.

Officials with Justice Canada and the Public Prosecution Service of Canada couldn’t be reached for comment Monday.

What gets me the most are some of the comments from people below the article. There are people here that actually condone this type of behavior. That just disgusts me and destroys my faith in society.

They condone a lack of transparency in government. This brings fear and the potential for any citizen to disappear at any time and the government does not have to explain itself. CRAZY MAN. THIS IS JUST CRAZY! Yes sir it is good to know that in small town Canada the Police State is alive and well.

Today I added 1000 shares of Geodex Minerals (GSX.TSX.V) to my Penny Stock Portfolio. I bought in at $0.12 / share and will be buying into this company for the foreseeable future, while it remains a penny stock.

Not that I have any inside information, but this company has made a remarkable and sizable find in my home province of New Brunswick. They are sitting on one of the worlds largest tungsten finds, with significant deposits of molybdenum (moly) and copper.

The current ore find is expected to last at least 30 years but there is bound to be more discovered as they have only explored the surface and shallow test holes.

With tungsten and moly, there is an ever increasing demand for each. Tungsten is being mined in northern Canada and China but there supplies are depleting. Moly is used to strengthen steel, making it less brittle, and used in nuclear power plants.

These guys do have some environmental and financial hurdles to tend to which is what increases the financial risks.

Environmental Hurdles

The bulk of the find is located under Sisson Brook, so that stream will have to be moved without jeopardizing the downriver waterways. with one being their tailings pond and another being Sission Brook and the Nashwaak River and Miramichi River Eco Systems.

Economic Hurdles

I sat in on a meeting with these guys back in August, I think, where they said that they needed to raise about $15 million to complete their initial exploratory and regulatory phase. Then they will need $450 million to build a processing facility and make the mine aoperational.

Local Area is Economically Depressed

The government wants this project to take off and needs it to work. The local area is primarliy a forestry-based economy and has collapsed. People need jobs. This company has said it will require upwards of 800 people to make the facility operational, over a period of about 18 months to 2 years, with an estimated work force of 300 – 350 employees.

Junior Mining Company

It is undoubtedly that this company will eventually enter into partnership or be bought out by a large mining company with deep pockets. I would predict this to happen once all environmental hurdles are cleared. If this happens, the days of penny stock status will be no more and I will make a bundle!

I am waiting for someone to call my number illegally so I can test how effective the system really is.

My hometown of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada has been flooded…BIG TIME. With a higher than average snowfall, rapid melt, and a torrential downpour upstream, the Saint John River overflowed its banks.

The devastation is widespread, damage will be in the millions of dollars, thousands of people will be displaced, and the clean up will be a long drawn out process.

At time of writing, the river has crested here, but downstream is getting it far worse than us tonight. The military has been called in, aiding in the rescue of people that were too stubborn to head the warning of authorities. There have been over 135 people rescued thus far.

In Mad Ape fashion I have created a video of the destruction, set to appropriate music. Definitely not your 5 o’clock news.

I always counter that argument with if there was no Irving then there would be a multitude of smaller companies that employed more New Brunswickers, with better wages and a higher standard of living.

Our current and former leaders created this behemoth that now controls all forms of print media, most of the forest industry, all of the oil refining business in New Brunswick, and the Provincial Premier, Shawn (The Con) Graham.

So when a grassroots campaign to single them out makes the news, one can only stand up and take notice. Of course the local puppets are quick to call for police action. Saint John City Mayor, Norm McFarlane says the police should stop these guys. I say we should all give them a medal.

Irving is a prime example of what is wrong with the world. Corpogovernance needs to be knocked down a peg or two. These stickers are like the MasterCard commercials…priceless!

YOU ARE A LIAR! You broke your campaign promise to the forest industry. You have screwed over the workforce. When everyone is gone and people are screaming for labor, whatcha gonna do? Bring in foreigners? Probably.

CONGRATULATIONS SHAWN, The Con. You have ruined the rural economy of New Brunswick and tarnished your reputation. What do you think will happen come election time? Oh I know…everyone will be gone to Alberta, and only your cronies will be left. That should get you elected again.

Also in Alaska for the oil that is extracted and shipped down the pipeline, 1 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas is diverted back into the ground driven by pumps powered by 747 jet engines.

There were two Middle-Eastern Countries that would not pony up and get on board with the USA Plan of ‘sell us your oil for US cash’…Iraq and Iran. Iran has not threatened nukes, they did threaten to flood the world with cheap oil and denominate it with the Euro. I always wondered why the USA insisted that a Neocon be President of the World Bank. Now I know.
