FAIL FOR NAIL

Having watched them tank this year, with no hope of making the playoffs, I have come up with an idea to encourage them to fail…FAIL FOR NAIL.

If the Habs can finish as a bottom feeder (bottom 5) they are in contention to get the first overall pick.

That pick will most likely be the young phenom Nail Yakupov (Наиль Якупов) , the the OHL’s Sarnia Sting. In his rookie season he had 49 goals, 52 assists for 101 points in 65 games. This season he has 29 goals, 22 goals, 33 assists for 55 points in 29 games. (source HockeyDB.com).

The Habs need a superstar. Not since the days of the Flying Frenchmen have they had a bona fide superstar that can be a game-breaker. This is the hero that Montreal fans have been longing for since the days of Guy Lafleur.

With a name like Nail, you know he has to be good. Can you imagine the puns that will play out in the sports media?

While some of the vets in the Habs Newsgroup, where I tend to troll hang out,  do not agree with me on this, I have to respectfully disagree with them. Montreal needs their superstar. They need to wrap themselves up in all of the drama that goes with having a top-tier player in the lineup.

While Carey Price may be a thoroughbred, and Saint Patrick Roy may have stood on his head for a couple of Stanley Cups; they are not the type of superstar that Montreal fans crave. The finicky Hab fans need a star who can nail up huge offensive numbers. It has been a long time coming and this years edition of the Habs need encouragement from us fans for them to fail so we get Nail in a Habs jersey.

The bigger the failure, the better the odds. Only the bottom five teams have a shot at him, so cheer on the Habs to future victory and glory. Cheer for them to lose all of their remaining games in the 2011-2012 season.

Pierre ‘the Goat’ Gauthier

Who is this guy? Has anyone ever seen him? Heard from him? Oh yeah, isn’t he the one who signed Andre Markov to a contract extension because he was progressing as expected? Hmmm how many times has that song played this season?

I seem to remember him as the poster boy for, as Paul Simon once sung, The Sound of Silence. He, in his lack of support of Coach Cunneyworth, during the recent french media bashing for Randy’s lack of parlez-vous, was nothing short of deplorable. That was the proverbial ‘throwing the coach under the bus’. His silence on the matter was deafening, but that is the expected norm for Gauthier. I would suspect that he has lost the respect of the coaching staff and players for that gaffe; but there is good news on the horizon. A highly probable outcome from a successful FAIL FOR NAIL campaign would be that the Goat gets turfed by the ownership group. Hence the catch phrase:

Now on to Pierre McGuire. Love him or hate him he has let it be known that he would love to be a GM in the NHL. Having been interviewed for the job in Minnesota he was, at least in the minds of one ownership group, a serious candidate. How many are you rolling your eyes or laughing? Cristobal Huet – I remain highly skeptical. He’s never been this good at any level. I don’t think he can sustain this high level of play.

Guillaume Latendresse – Big mistake if he starts in the NHL as an 18 year old. He needs to develop properly. Don’t rush him.

Sheldon Souray – One trick pony. There isn’t much interest around the league. I don’t know who’s going to sign him. Don’t know how effective he can be in post lockout era.

Kyle Chipchura – I worry about his skating, especially after his knee injury. Might be able to hang on as a 4th line player.

Alex Tanguay – A 1st round pick? Terrible trade.

Robert Lang – Can still play but don’t know how much he has left. A lot of miles in that body.

Roman Hamrlik – A good player but I don’t know about that 4th year. He’ll help but the term is one year too long.

Georges Laraque – You wanted him, you’ve got him. Why didn’t Pittsburgh want him back?

Chris Higgins – He’s got to stop talking about being a 30 goal scorer. He’s not.

Mike Cammalleri – I don’t know how many other teams would have given him a 6th year.

Brian Gionta – A true gamer. Real solid player and teammate. But again, that 5th year might be a killer. Montreal seems to have to add an extra year to get players to sign.

Jaroslav Spacek – Good player but not much left in the tank. Was a healthy scratch for Buffalo last year. I’d rather have Francois Beauchemin.

Scott Gomez – See Above

Travis Moen – Very useful player if you give him a defined role.

Hal Gill – Very effective defensively. Better than people think, especially on the penalty kill.

Benoit Pouliot – First player I would have traded if I had gotten the job in Minnesota.

Dominic Moore – Why did they give up a second round pick when they could have had this player as a free agent?

Marc Andre Bergeron – Good pick up as a fill in for Markov on power play. Serious issues in his own end.

PK Subban – Will be a star player. Maybe more. But manage expectations.

Jeff Halpern – Real smart player. Valuable role guy. But not the same on his skates since ripping up his knee.

Lars Eller – If he ends up playing on the top two lines then the trade is a good one. But I believe they could have and should have gotten more. Coming off the season and playoffs he had you had to drive up the price for Halak. They didn’t do that.

Erik Cole – Very good signing. I worry about that 4th year but he’s what they need.

Chris Campoli – A depth defenseman at this stage. People think he’s a really good skater but he’s knock kneed. Prone to mistakes.

Rene Bourque – I like the trade but it really depends on what they do with the money saved on the Cammalleri contract and what they do with that second round pick.

2011-2012 Montreal Canadiens – If they don’t finish in the top 5 on the power play they won’t make the playoffs.

If that was not enough street creds, his pedigree was given a major boost when hockey legend, Scotty Bowman, came out in his corner, thinking that he would make a great GM for the Montreal Canadiens.

He eventually brought Pierre to Pittsburgh where McGuire worked as a scout and assistant coach helping the Penguins win two Stanley Cups.

I don’t know about you, but if Scotty supports Pierre McGuire, then I do. He is just what the Habs need in the front office. Someone who is vocal, someone who is bilingual, and someone who is a native Montrealer.

This will be a long an detailed blog entry, so grab a banana, sit back, and learn about a potential scam running on YouTube right now. This scam is so simple that it is scary, and YouTube does not seem to give a shit. Back in March 2011 I created a Google Search Story video using a new service supplied by YouTube. On a whim I created a conspiracy search story and uploaded it to my YouTube account. A few months went by and suddenly I got an email from YouTube asking me if I wanted to monetize the video:

Monetizing a Video

Hmmm I thought. Not today. There was not a lot of traffic to the video, leading me to believe that there was no money to be made. Thanks but no thanks, so I took a pass and ignored the email. Fast forward to December 2011 and I noticed a significant increase in my daily blog traffic. We are talking 4x the amount of traffic practically over night. Using Clicky (my stats program), I determined that all of this increased traffic was coming to my homepage from this video. A remarkable thing had happened. It had gone viral. At time of writing this, the video is closing in on 3 million views. When I noticed it back on December 11th it had passed the 600,000 view mark.

Don’t forget the Backlinks

It was a good thing that when I had uploaded the video, I had included a backlink in the info box leading back to this site. I try and do that with every video I upload. Free traffic I always thought…and damn, it works great! Almost all of my videos start with an opening link back to this site in the description. Once I noticed this, I immediately monetized the video. Adsense policies prevent me from discussing details of income earned, but needless to say I was very very very impressed.

Copyright Dispute Run Amok

So the video keeps getting more and more views, earning more and more income, ticking along rather nicely earning me passive income. Things were good in the world of The Mad Ape. Then I woke up on Monday morning to this:

Who is GlobalTVCom?

WTF? GlobalTVCom was laying copyright claim to my video? Granted some of the content belongs to YouTube/Google because they provided the online software for me to create the video, but they were the ones who invited me to earn income from it. That tells me that they have agreed to allow me to use the video for income generating purposes. They make a great income off of it too, so it is a win-win for both of us.

I quickly disputed this claim by GlobalTVCom with YouTube using their online, automated dispute mechanism. Now here is where the story takes a strange twist… I have waited for a few days and when I checked the status of the claim today I got the message:

The Making of A Scam

So I had to wait until I hear from these people. Why I asked myself. Not being one to sit idly by, I looked through the help section of YouTube and found a suggestion to open a dialogue with the entity claiming copyright. YouTube suggested that I contact them through their user name (http://youtube.com/user/GlobalTVCom). So I tried and then BAM… I was met with this:

It says: This account has been terminated due to repeated or severe violations of our Community Guidelines and/or claims of copyright infringement.

So this user, claiming copyright for my video, has had their account suspended for violating claims of copyright infringement. WOW! This blew me away. I have no way of knowing when their account was suspended but this got me thinking of why they did it.

Potential for Theft of Income

Think about this for a minute. A nefarious, unscrupulous YouTube user makes a bunch of YouTube and Google Adsense accounts then systematically browses YouTube for videos that have gone viral. Next they lay copyright claims on them, making sure not to have the video removed but to insert their monetization into the video.  Once they lay a copyright claim, YouTube, if present, removes the uploader’s monetization.

While this proves that I have had income taken from me because of a bogus copyright claim, from here on I have no proof, only supposition as to what is going on. I have to ask myself why someone would do such a thing? Jealousy? Mayhem? While both probable, I took my train of thought down the Scam Track Railway.

Now suppose for a moment that the claimant has had their monetization inserted into the uploader’s video. I have uploaded videos where the owner claims copyright and they insert Adsense ads into them. I have no problem with that. However if it is bogus and if no one argues the copyright claim, or even if the uploader does dispute it, how much money is scammed prior to YouTube and Google Adsense catching up to it?

YouTube’s Poor User Relationships

Sure YouTube and Google Adsense will catch this eventually, and I think that is what happened here, but what if this is done on a massive scale? What are the odds that some of this is going undetected. It is scary to think about the ramifications of this, but shouldn’t this type of thing  be expected when an online service relies too heavily on automation? I don’t care how good a utility is. If left to run with minimal human interaction, someone out there will hack it. Has this happened here? I don’t know for sure but I have some issues with the way that YouTube is handling the situation.

First and foremost YouTube is very poor in its user relations. They are next to impossible to contact and one has to dig into the depths of their site to find a contact form. Currently I have posted in a related discussion on their forums but the only response says that I should wait 10 days. Normally I would not have a problem with that but when the copyright claimant has had their account suspended for false claims of copyright, I think that my video should have the claim dropped immediately.

How Do I Get My Money Back?

Finally, while I said that I normally would not have a problem with waiting the 10 days, I feel that should the copyright claim be decided in the uploader’s favor, that any income lost should be returned from the claimant. I would suppose that this would be a court matter, unless it became part of YouTube’s policies.

Am I out to lunch here? Please tell me what you think is going on? I am hoping that the search engines pick this up, especially the user GlobalTVCom because I am interested to know if others have outstanding copyright claims from this user. You can do you part by spreading awareness by spreading some love throughout the social media. I want to know what is going on. There is no denying that I have been ripped off.

So what can we make of this?

1) The powers that be (TPTB) are running out of options. How much longer can they continue to control physical bullion prices with their fraudulent paper? As they continue to raise requirements these scumbags are like parasites, feeding off of themselves. Before long their power over physical will be lost as their paper will no longer have any power to control it. These Fiatards know not the mess they are creating to suppress metal prices, in an effort to keep value in their fiat waste products.

2) If past history is any indicator, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), will likely continue the assault sometime over the weekend before the markets open on Monday.

So what would I do if I owned paper silver products?

1) I would sell all paper gold and silver paper products as soon as possible – The only ones I trust are Sprott Physical Silver Trust (PSLV), Sprott Physical Gold Trust (PHYS), and the Central Fund of Canada (CEF).

2) Then I would sit back and wait for the attack and wait for it to bottom out. Your guess is as good as mine as to when, but a $50 drop in gold and a $3 drop in silver could happen.

3) Then, with my proceeds, I would either buy physical bullion on the dip or if I wanted to enter the rigged casino again, I would buy back in after the attack is over. If you buy physical they will no longer have control of your money. If you want to continue to play, then play smart.

One of these times the Banksters will lose control and the price will break free of their schemes. While that will be good for gold and silver bugs, it will not bode well for humanity. Why? I predict that when TBTB lose control, the economy will have imploded, the world will be at war, and there will be riots in the streets of North America. In that mix somewhere will be a serious false flag terror attack. TPTB need to keep you scared and full of negative energy.

UPDATE: I firmly believe that fiat will destabilize to the point of economic collapse and that governments and Banksters will blame / demonize precious metals and hold their holders /promoters responsible. We will probably be labeled terrorists. It is coming. I know it.

Why do I say this? Because TPTB label anyone who sees through their scams as a terrorist so they can pit the dumbed down masses against them with their mass-hysteria media.

I further predict that governments will confiscate the metals out of these funds and issue their phony fiat to settle accounts. If you are still a player in the rigged casino at that time, then you might as well bend over and kiss your ass goodbye because you will be broke.

While Charles will argues that if you do not vote then you have no right to complain and should keep your mouth shut, he misses the point completely. He, just like most others, do not get what they are feeding into. They have been brainwashed since childhood to believe in God, Country, and Flag. It amazes me that over 100,000 people will be out in the streets tonight cheering on the Vancouver Canucks trying to win the Stanley Cup, but won’t raise an eyebrow when their government robs them of their freedom and wealth.

If any Greek politician accepts the deal that the Eurozone is proposing, then the Greek citizens need to arrest and execute the leaders for high treason.

This week will be very interesting and it is convenient that all of this is playing out during the US Memorial Day Holiday, while the markets are closed. There is a mass uprising taking place in Greece right now with over 100,000 people marching. I have tried to find live streaming coverage but the only server I can find is swamped and down. I have provide the link anyway, and if you are lucky you may get to watch a public lynching.

Greeks are pissed off and rightfully so. They are being asked to bite the bullet for the criminal activity of their politicians and Wall St masters. Rather than giving up their sovereignty, Greeks need to default. When the Banskters try and lay claim to assets as payment of debt, Greece can say come and try and get it. They need to get nasty, dirty, and mean. Just say no to Financial Terrorism.

Sure they will be demonized in the media. Sure debt holders will cry foul. Sure they will be kicked out of the Eurozone. Sure times will be tough for a while…but Greeks will rise out of the despair, quicker through default, because they will not have permanent austerity nor permanent debt.

In the short term their new currency will suck and inflation will run high but with a cheap currency they can make a killing on tourism…and this is one Mad Ape that will visit Greece should they do the right thing.

If they wanted to be really bold they could go to a gold standard and try an undermine the Euro. That would be a nice touch to a bold play.

Rep. Tom Graves (R-Ga.) is questioning President Obama’s use of an autopen in signing an extension of the Patriot Act.

In a letter Friday, Graves asks Obama to confirm that he saw the law prior to its autopen signing.

“Mr. President, I write to request your confirmation that S. 990, as passed by Congress, was presented to you prior to the autopen signing, as well as a detailed, written explanation of your Constitutional authority to assign a surrogate the responsibility of signing bills passed into law,” Graves wrote.

Obama signed the bill into law late Thursday night. The autopen was used because the president was in France, meeting with G8 leaders, and the bill’s provisions expired at midnight.

Graves cited Article 1 Section 7 of the Constitution, which says that the president must sign a bill to approve it into law.

“Every bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a law, be presented to the President of the United States; If he approve he shall sign it,” the article reads.

In response the the morons who were leaving comments on the above article, that were based on the false left-right paradigm that keeps humanity divided, I posted the following response that was denied publication:

I am not a Libertarian
I am not of any political stripe
I am a political atheist
I believe that the constitution applies to everyone and no one should be treated differently under it.

That being said…the PATRIOT Act is the most draconian, evasive, and unpatriotic piece of legislation ever to exist in the USA…period.

It robs humanity of God-given rights, allows for TSA and Homeland Security, and other security officials to act with impunity in an attempt to subvert freedom.

It has nothing to do with protecting America from terrorism and all about controlling the population through fear and intimidation for profit.

Anyone, especially those in elected office, that enable this blight on humanity to continue is a traitor to freedom and needs to be removed from office.

If you wonder why the New World Order agenda is ramping up at an ever increasing speed; it’s pretty obvious.

The Elitists have built massive underground shelters, they’ve been stockpiling these shelters with massive food supplies and fresh water from all of the rains they’ve created with HAARP.They are polluting our soil and killing off honeybees with aerial spraying of aluminum and barium so that we won’t be able to grow our own food when they create a major food shortage.

They are flooding and destroying many parts of the country in order to displace large amounts of people and add to the already destroyed economy.They are doing nothing to protect our electrical grid from the coming Solar Maximum which is already expected by NASA to be one of the most powerful solar storms in history.

So imagine this, 2/3rds of of the United States loses power, causing the ground water pumps to stop functioning, causing high bacteria levels.Widespread civil unrest as a result of no electricity and water, stores run out of food and bottled water, no fuel to fill your gas tank.

Armed mobs of bandits looking for food,water and fuel from anywhere they can get it. All the while, the government and their Elitist masters sit in the safety and comfort of their underground shelters watching the chaos unfold while still having continuity of government.

After introducing a scientifically engineered virus into the populous, they can blame it on the polluted water and inform the public that the damage to the electrical grid is so widespread that it could take several months, even years to repair.

The fact that Americans today are so dependent on government and corporations for everything in their lives means that millions of spoiled, rotten, pampered people (not all Americans) who’ve had everything handed to them and have taken everything that sustains them for granted for their entire lives, will now be left to fend for themselves with no clue as to how to survive (since most of them have never been taught self-preservation/sufficiency).

Many of these people have no sense of compassion for their fellow man or loyalty to America so they will have no problem robbing, murdering, and pillaging to survive. I can already picture our leaders allowing the chaos to go on for a while (like the LA riots in 92) before they finally announce that they have come up with a solution.

Of course they will probably claim that Mexico, Canada and the EU have come together to help rebuild America, but that dusty old Constitution just won’t work as part of the solution, so they will give sell us a “new and improved” constitution that is compatible with global and environmental values, but first they will need for us to turn in our guns and for those “enemy combatants” who are against “saving America” they will need to impose Martial Law via the US and foreign military for “humanitarian” purposes.

After this type of scenario and after tens of millions of people have died, most Americans will be completely at the mercy of the government and will begging for any kind of change necessary for peace and restoration, even if it means giving up all sovereignty and freedom (which it will).

All that is needed to destroy the USA is to destroy the American spirit, and they’re already getting there with the failing economy and the fake war on terror.

NIA is pleased to announce to you its latest gold stock suggestion. The company is Mega Precious Metals, Inc. and it is trading in Canada on the TSX Venture exchange under ticker symbol MGP and in the U.S. on the pink sheets under ticker symbol MPRXF.

MGP is a gold exploration company with three major gold exploration projects in Canada. MGP‘s most advanced exploration project Monument Bay is located in North East Manitoba.

MGP has two earlier stage exploration projects located in Red Lake, Ontario called North Madsen and Headway.

MGP has 74.3 million shares outstanding and at its current share price of $0.37, MGP has a market cap of $27.49 million. We believe MGP is an undervalued, undiscovered gem, with astronomical upside potential once the investment community discovers it.

MGP‘s Monument Bay property has an inferred resource of 1,212,000 ounces of gold! If you subtract MGP‘s estimated $10 million in cash from its current market cap at $0.37 of $27.49 million, the market is valuing MGP‘s 1.2 MILLION ounce gold resource at Monument Bay at only $14.43 per ounce! Gold is currently $1,483 per ounce, which means MGP‘s NI 43-101 compliant gold resource base is being valued at less than 1/100th the price of gold!

That’s also not giving MGP any value at all for their North Madsen and Headway properties in Red Lake, Ontario. Not many people know this, but gold was first discovered in Red Lake in 1926 and less than a decade later in 1936, Red Lake’s Howey Bay became the busiest airport in the world with more flights taking off and landing per hour than any other airport in existence worldwide.

Goldcorp (GG), which currently has a $38.9 BILLION market cap, has a gold mine at Red Lake called the Red Lake Gold Mine, which is Canada’s LARGEST gold mine! In 2010, GG‘s Red Lake Gold Mine produced 703,300 ounces of gold at a cash cost of only $297 per ounce.

MGP‘s North Madsen properties at Red Lake are comprised of the land packages of Laverty and East My-Ritt. The Laverty claim consists of six patented mining claims totaling approximately 240 acres that are contiguous with the historic Hasaga and Howey gold mine properties, which produced approximately 640,000 ounces of gold within similar host rock to those located on the Laverty property. Historic exploration on the Laverty property has confirmed the presence of extensive near-surface gold mineralization.

MGP‘s East My-Ritt property consists of eight patented mining claims totaling approximately 320 acres that are contiguous with MGP‘s Laverty property and adjacent to the historic Hasaga and Howey gold mine properties. Gold occurrences spatially associated with the structure include diamond drill intersections grading 18.2 g/t gold over 3.5m and 7.43 g/t gold over 1.0m.

MGP‘s Headway property consists of six (6) patented claims and one (1) unpatented claim units totaling approximately 320 acres. The property appears to have all of the essential geological elements including a well-developed intersection pattern of stratigraphic, shear / deformation zones that are associated with the high grade gold system on the adjacent mine properties.

MGP has an experienced management team that is committed to an accelerated growth strategy to develop MGP‘s projects. MGP‘s CEO Jim Rogers was previously GG‘s Regional Exploration Manager for the Red Lake region who was credited with discovering GG‘s high grade zone at their Red Lake Gold Mine. That’s right, the person who discovered the high grade gold zone at the Red Lake Gold Mine, the largest gold mine in Canada, which produced 703,300 ounces of gold last year and is owned by GG, a $38.9 billion company, has now become the CEO of MGP and MGP owns two major properties at Red Lake that NIA believes the market is currently giving absolutely no value to.

MGP‘s Chairman is Ewan Downie, who is currently also the President and CEO of Premier Gold Mines (TSX: PG), a $624 million company. He was previously the President and CEO of Wolfden Resources, which was acquired by Zinifex Limited for $360 million.

So shortly after this email was received, without doing my own due diligence (BIG MISTAKE), I took the NIA at face value and purchased 1000 shares at $0.60. So now with a share price of $o.47, I have taken a kick in the nuts. Something did not smell right, but I have been busy with other things and did this buy as an emotional reaction from someone I trusted. So how did I find out about this? NIA touts penny stock Mega Precious Metals based solely on its “inferred” 1.2 million ounces of gold. However, NIA knows that “inferred” resources are practically meaningless. More important, they also know that their members, not being sophisticated gold investors, have no clue what “inferred” means and they exploit that ignorance to create a false impression of value. Note: NIA responded to this video by raising a straw man. They claimed they did not “pump and dump” the stock since they did not personally sell any shares. However i never accused them of that. I alleged that a third party paid them to pump up the stock so the third party could sell their shares. The fact that they never addressed this allegation is pretty compelling evidence that it’s true. They also claimed that they warned their members that Mega’s gold ounces were merely “inferred.” That is my point –they did not warn them!. They did not define “inferred”, and they counted on the fact that their members would wrongfully assume that “inferred” meant they actually had gold. That is why they fraudulently calculated the value of their “inferred” ounces based on today’s gold price. They also included a list of legitimate gold recommendation. But they only make those “suggestions” to lay the foundation for future pump and dump schemes.

In addition, they accused me of running a failing brokerage firm that will soon be out of business despite the fact that my business has never been better. We have more clients, more revenue, and more profits than ever. We also generally charge much lower commissions than what they claim.

According to Peter Schiff, I should hire a lawyer and sue NIA. Will I? I don’t know. It depends. If there is a class-action, I may pile on with extra weight, but for the time being I will get some satisfaction by helping reduce the population of ‘suckers born every minute’ by revealing how I was suckered in.

As I have said many times, there is no room in the markets for emotion. It is rife with fraud, deceit, and criminal activity from all levels and all players. When you enter a rigged casino to play their game, be prepared to get burned a few times. This is an example of how my greed knocked the shit out of my smarts.

If I had done my due diligence and investigated NIA I would have learned that NIA is a front for Jonathan Lebed, the youngest person ever charged with pump and dump crimes by the SEC.

Jonathan Lebed (born September 29, 1984) is an American notorious for using internet technology to hype stocks.

Between September 1999 and February 2000 Lebed made hundreds of thousands of dollars by posting in internet chat rooms and on message boards encouraging people to buy penny stocks he already owned, thus, according to the SEC, artificially raising the price of the stock. The SEC under Arthur Levitt prosecuted him. In 2001 Lebed and the SEC negotiated an out-of-court settlement in which Lebed forfeited $285,000 in profit and interest he had made on 11 trades without admitting any wrongdoing — allowing him to keep close to half a million dollars.

So at the time of writing this I have received yet another email from the NIA where they refute every claim that Peter Schiff has made against them.

For the past two years, NIA has built one of the world’s most impressive track records of free stock suggestions. Not including NIA’s latest stock suggestion Mega Precious Metals, NIA has released 27 stock suggestions and they have made an average gain at their highs of 196% from NIA’s profile prices.

NIA has always made it very clear that we are not investment advisors and our stock suggestions have been just that, suggestions. NIA has never recommended to its members that they buy or sell any stock. NIA’s stock suggestions have been 100% completely unbiased. NIA has NEVER once sold a single share in any of its stock suggestions. Let us repeat, NIA has NEVER once sold a single share in any of its stock suggestions.

There is a certain well-known traditional old-fashioned stock broker who has recently been losing a lot of his business and believes NIA is partially responsible for his company’s decline. NIA used to have a lot of respect for this person and we still agree with many of his economic viewpoints. Unfortunately, his brokerage firm will most likely no longer exist in a few years and it has nothing to do with the success of NIA.

We are not going to mention this person’s name and give his brokerage firm any publicity. The truth is, this firm charges very large commissions of approximately 3.5% every time one of its clients buy or sell any stock. NIA for the past two years has been suggesting to its members that they open up online brokerage accounts with firms such as Etrade, Ameritrade, and Scottrade, where they can buy or sell any stock for approximately $10 per trade.

There is no reason why any investor should have to see a 7% gain in a stock that they purchase before making a profit. With an online brokerage account, if you invest $25,000 into a stock and it rises 5%, you would make $1,230 if you sold it. If you invested $25,000 into that same stock using a traditional old-fashioned broker and you sold it after it gained 5%, you would lose $543.75.

NIA would like to take this opportunity to make it perfectly clear that neither our organization, anybody who works for our organization, or anybody affiliated with our organization owns a single share of Mega Precious Metals (TSX Venture: MGP) or has ever owned a single share of MGP. We are shocked that this traditional old-fashioned stock broker who we used to have so much respect for would outright lie and say that NIA “pumped and dumped” this stock without presenting a shred of evidence.

It is impossible for someone to “pump and dump” a stock if they never bought or sold a share of it. Even somebody with no stock market experience can look at a chart of MGP and see that it has been falling straight down for months on almost no volume. It would have been impossible for anybody to have accumulated even a modest sized position in the company before NIA’s profile. NIA profiled it right at the bottom.

NIA has the most intelligent membership base in the world. This old-fashioned broker is obviously extremely jealous of the success of NIA members who no longer have to pay brokers like him 7% per round-trip trade, more than the commission to sell a house. Yes, some of NIA’s stock suggestions like MGP are risky and speculative. NIA made it very clear that MGP‘s gold resource base is an inferred resource and not a proven reserve.

The truth is, if you want to outperform the rest of the market, you sometimes need to take risks. The best performing mining stocks will be companies with inferred resource bases that turn them into proven reserves. If you invest solely into companies that already have proven reserves, their stocks are most likely fully valued with limited upside potential. NIA hopes that the rest of this old-fashioned broker’s remaining clients soon wake up and realize they are paying 7% round-trip commissions for no reason at all.

NIA’s track record speaks for itself. Let’s see where MGP is trading at the end of 2011. NIA is extremely confident it will become a huge winner. In fact, we bet our reputation that it will become a huge winner from its current price of $0.47 over the long-term. Although NIA hasn’t purchased a position in MGP yet, it is possible that NIA’s President will begin accumulating a position soon.

If any investor wants exposure to many different well-known established mining companies with proven reserves that have already been discovered by the investment community, all one has to do is purchase the ETF Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (GDX). With any online brokerage account for only a single $10 trade, you can purchase GDX, which is well-diversified into many of the largest most established miners. There is absolutely no point for anybody to have a brokerage account with a brokerage firm that provides no value for the large commissions that they charge.

Since NIA was formed in February of 2009, NIA has released 28 public stock suggestions. Only on 1 occasion has NIA ever owned a stock suggestion in advance before profiling the company to the public. So you can see that there is a public battle brewing between Peter Schiff and the NIA / Jonathan Lebed. So who do I trust? Peter Schiff wins hands down. Why? Among other reasons any person or organization who refers to Glenn Beck in an effort to gain credibility is suspect.

Glenn Beck is a New World Order sock puppet who exists/existed to divide and conquer reality.

Facts on Silver

For those who missed my piece of March 25, 2011, here is the link. I asked the question, “Is Silver Topping?” I may have been right about silver topping, only time will tell. For certain I was dead wrong about the timing and the price. Silver has rocketed from $38 and change when I wrote the piece to over $47 now.

But lots of people get lots of things wrong about silver. So here are some facts.

1. Silver is going parabolic.

According to Jim Rogers all parabolic moves end badly. I have seen similar charts in all kinds of commodities and they always correct. Parabolic charts mark tops. So when silver bugs start suggesting, “This time it’s different” I know better.

Study the chart below. Ignore the commodity. When charts go parabolic, it ends badly. I was an investor in the 1970s in both gold and silver. I started buying gold at $35 and silver around $5 an ounce. I sold out all my silver in January of 1980 a week too early at $35 as it rocketed to $50.25 an ounce at the open on January 21, 1980. It went parabolic and basically that’s all you need to know.

Those investors who want to buy at new all time highs almost always are the same investors who want to sell at all time lows. Naturally as a guy running a metals site, I think $46 silver is wonderful for all my readers that I was telling to buy at $4 and $6 and $10 and $20. Is silver a good buy today? No, it’s a good sale… to those who insist on buying at tops.

2. The actual ratio of silver to gold in the earth’s crust is not 16 to 1.

It’s more like between 20 or 26 or 64 to one. This is not an absolute fact, these are opinions from experts but no experts conclude the ratio is 16-1. Go to Wikipedia and do the math for yourself.

What happens on the web is that one guy starts a rumor saying there are tens of thousands of gold-plated tungsten bars out there. Some other fool adds a few “facts” to the rumor and all of a sudden hundreds of sites are writing about fake gold bars.

Alas, years later not a single tungsten bar has showed up. It was rubbish and anyone who understood anything about metalworking would understand that technically it would be very hard to do. All 400 ounce gold bars are tracked and if by some strange process someone managed to counterfeit one, he would be caught at once. But you can sell a lot of subscriptions to those who pay to have their fantasies catered to.

It doesn’t matter how many people claim the ratio of silver to gold is 16-1, it simply isn’t true.

3. There is no shortage of silver. There never has been a shortage of silver. Until the laws of supply and demand are repealed, there never will be a shortage of silver.

The first person I ever read that claimed there was a shortage of silver was Ted Butler. He claimed in May that according to his figures the world was going to totally run out of silver by December. This was on the Kitco forum. I wrote and told him he was dead wrong, there were billions of ounces of silver above ground. His response was that according to his numbers, we would be out of silver bullion and that would drive the price of silver all by itself to between $50 and $100 an ounce. In a vacuum. Without gold going up or oil or anything else going up because of inflation. Silver was that rare.

My retort was that with billions of ounces around, prices would soon turn Grannie’s silver service into silver bullion. He insisted I didn’t know what I was talking about; he was the silver “GURU.” The exchange took place in May of 2001 and by December of 2001 I had correctly called the bottom in silver while he was insisting that it would be $50 an ounce. One of us was dead right.

But then he was also the guy claiming that silver was the most critical war material and if we ever go into a war, that would drive silver prices to between $50 and $100 an ounce and it was so rare that you should, “never, never, ever sell silver.” With the US engaged in three different wars at the same time, you would think that silver would be $300 an ounce. It’s not.

My question is, “If you were smart enough to buy 100 ounces of silver at $4 an ounce, a 5000-year low in real terms, how much profit have you made if silver goes to $50 or $100 or $300 and you never, never, ever sell? The answer, of course, and ignored by all the silver “GURUS” is that if you buy low and don’t sell ever, you don’t make any profit. That may be the dumbest investment advice I have ever heard.

Silver is a commodity like any other. If you are smart enough to buy it cheap and you are smart enough to sell it when it gets expensive, you will profit. If you want to buy at all time highs, good luck with that.

There are 19 billion ounces of silver above ground today. People talking about silver “bullion” inventories are being misleading. Silver is silver is silver and it only takes a day to turn a few 200 year-old-tea pots into a boring 1000 ounce “bullion” bar.

Just how accurate is the 19 billion ounce figure? We can figure that out with simple logic. I think the figure accepted by more people for total silver production ever would be about 45 billion ounces. A favorite argument of the permabulls is that silver is consumed, not recycled. Let’s think about that. Silver is used in computers, iPhones, aircraft, and lots of commercial purposes where it isn’t recycled. But that use of silver wasn’t common until perhaps 1960. Silver before that time was recycled. Yes, silver coins did wear but they didn’t wear out, they might lose 20% of their original weight.

If 45 billion ounces were produced, it’s more logical that a good percentage of it is still around. I was in my coin dealer’s shop a week ago. He bought 2800 ounces of silver on Saturday. Not a bar of bullion in the bunch but 2800 ounces of real silver in other forms. The numbers on silver are not hard numbers; we simply don’t know how much silver is around. But we do know there is a lot of silver and with the exception of a short period between the end of November of 1979 and January 21 of 1980, a mere six weeks later, silver has been well under $10 an ounce on average for the last 40 years. How rational is $46 silver? Not very.

I’d guess most silver mines have cash costs between $3 and $10. A market price of $46 an ounce will suck silver out of grannies’ closets and out of the ground at the same time. Every silver refinery in the world is running at capacity right now, if you want silver, there is a lot of it around.

4. The most illogical thinking and worst use of “facts” is common among the silver uberbulls and the parrots that follow them.

Someone just posted the most incredible theory on the validity of SLV. That’s the silver ETF that has been trashed for years by a small group of uberbulls with an agenda. One of their supporters came up with a brilliant argument. Since we don’t really know and can’t prove that SLV actually has all the physical silver, the proof that it is a scam is when they deny it being a scam. Read that carefully. The proof that it is a scam is when they deny it.

So, apparently, if you ask the people behind SLV if it is a scam and they admit it, that means we know it’s a scam since they admitted it. And if you ask the people behind the SLV if it is a scam and they deny it, that also means it is a scam because the proof is when they deny it.

I think that’s circular logic. No matter what the people behind SLV say, it’s a scam.

I have said in the past I have reservations about ETFs and I think investors should be aware of those reservations. If we have a total economic collapse and the financial system freezes, all ETFs could be frozen or worse for months. That includes Sprott’s paper silver, the CEF and SLV and all ETFs of all sorts. What happened in Argentina could happen in the US, it could happen all over the world. It’s entirely possible that all banks close for a good period of time, after all they are insolvent now and have been since September of 2008. But a financial freeze would affect all forms of paper silver including Sprott’s silver trust.

The CEF fund and the SLV have done more to improve the price of silver and gold than any other single action in the last 50 years. Silver bugs should be grateful SLV holds 366 million ounces of silver instead they are whining and posting simply absurd articles totally lacking in either facts or logic.

When someone posts something that ridiculous and lacking in logic, you may safely presume they don’t know what they are talking about. That’s real common when people write about silver and it’s going to cost investors a whole lot of money.

The daily bullish consensus on silver is 96% as of Wednesday the 20th of April. On January 21st of 1980, the very day of the top, the bullish consensus was 94%. How many of the silver uberbulls are suggesting that maybe the record high bullish consensus is suggesting a very dangerous time to start buying? The answer is damned few because they have an agenda and their agenda doesn’t involve them knowing what they are talking about. As long as they tell investors what they want to hear, they will be very popular.

5. There cannot be a run on Comex. The rules do not allow the chance for a run.

For years I have watched as each time silver runs up, certain people start spreading rumors that silver is in such shortage that there will be a run on Comex. The only problem with the rumor is that it can’t possibly happen. There cannot be a run on Comex. I repeat, there cannot be a run on Comex.

Part of the reason for the rumor is that most investors confuse the purpose of the exchanges. The purpose of the exchanges is not to exchange commodities. The purpose of the exchanges is to determine price. But certainly the possibility of a run on an exchange is possible so early on the exchanges adopted rules that called for cash settlement if necessary.

Most people don’t know this because they don’t read the small print but if you have a savings account, the bank has the right to withhold payment for up to 90 days. And all mortgages are essentially 90 notes at their heart. That’s right, the bank can demand full payment within 90 days if they wish and during the 1930s that’s how thousands of Americans lost their homes even when they were paying their mortgage.

I don’t write the rules and you don’t write the rules and they are what they are if you like it or not. There cannot be a run on silver, it’s impossible. So anyone writing about it is spreading disinformation. Of course anyone who ever passed a Series 7 exam know this but you will never hear the silver uberbulls mention it. I wonder why.

There are three guys in the mining business that are so smart and have such great track records that for 70% of investors in metals, they should buy into their mutual funds and stop trying to outsmart the market by picking stocks. The top three guys in the industry are Ken Gerbino, Eric Sprott and Frank Holmes. If you like metals and shares in resource stocks, stop trying to be so smart yourself, it’s difficult work. Hand your money to them to invest in one of their funds and you will do just fine.

That said, Eric Sprott seems to have done something that hasn’t happened to the market since the days of Johnny Carson. You have to be getting on in age to remember it but back in 1973 Johnny Carson started a toilet paper shortage that lasted a month. He was making a joke. He said that there was a toilet paper shortage. The next day, millions of rolls of toilet paper flew off the shelves of every store in the US and by noon there was no toilet paper to be had. It was nothing but a joke.

Don’t let anyone convince you that supply and demand doesn’t work. They do work and that’s far more important for you to know than belief in some mysterious manipulation conspiracy theory. I’ve heard all the stories and know all the arguments. No one in history has made a cent from a belief in market manipulation.

If gold has gone up 4100% since 1950, higher than any other commodity, anyone manipulating it down has done a piss poor job. And who cares if 4 guys have sold more silver short than exists in the known universe? Those are all interesting theories but that’s all they are. If you don’t buy low and sell high, you can’t make money. End of story.

Eric Sprott started his own paper silver fund called the Sprott Physical Silver Trust. It’s still paper silver like SLV or the CEF fund. It has some unique features, not benefits but features. He has done a brilliant job of promoting it.

Recently he purchased $300 million dollars more physical silver to put in the closed fund. As a result of his excellent promotion, as of last Wednesday, silver was selling for $46. If you bought the CEF silver fund, you paid $47.88 for silver. If you bought SLV, you paid $46 with no premium but if you bought PSLV, the Sprott Silver Trust, you paid an incredible $57.73 an ounce for silver.

I’d say that Eric Sprott buying $300 million dollars more silver lately was incredible timing. He pocketed probably $60 million in profit. Is Eric Sprott bullish on silver? I’d say so. He has 60 million reasons to be bullish. He can buy at the exact top of silver and watch a 25% decline and still make money.

How wise was it for investors to pay a 25% premium for silver? I’d like to believe my readers are smart enough to figure that out for themselves. Eric Sprott is both brilliant and rich but paying 25% over spot is not wise investing.

The Hunt Brothers investing in silver drove silver to $50.25 an ounce for a few minutes on January 21, 1980. I think it would be fair to credit the silver boom of 2011 to Eric Sprott. He’s not really saying anything new about silver, though, Ted Butler was claiming that we were about to run out of silver 10 years ago and claiming that silver was the most manipulated of all metals long before Eric Sprott bought his first ounce of silver for a fund. But Eric Sprott adds credibility. But we weren’t running out of silver ten years ago. We aren’t running out of silver now.

One of two things is going to happen. Either we are at a top and silver is about to crash both hard and long, or the world’s financial system is about to fall apart. I have been an advocate of a total financial crash for a lot longer than most writers. I was writing about the dangers of derivatives in 2002 when they were 15% of what they are now.

But I don’t believe the world’s financial system is going to crash next week. As in January of 1980, the silver bulls are going to be the ones losing money. You can’t profit if you don’t sell and all the permabulls are screaming “Buy, buy, buy.” As they will at every top. Buying at record high prices is rarely profitable. But perhaps this time it really is different.

Here’s what all potential investors in silver need to know.

1. The chart of silver has gone parabolic. Parabolic charts mark tops no matter what the commodity.
   .
2. The bullish consensus on silver is at a record high. Record high bullish consensus on any commodity is common at tops.
   .
3. When the most credible guys in an industry start explaining why supply and demand don’t really work, it’s a top. With 19 billion ounces of silver above ground we aren’t about to run out any time soon.
   .
4. When guys start writing about silver that didn’t have a clue as to what it was or what it was used for at the bottom, you are at a top. I’m astonished at both the ignorance and the arrogance of the newly invented silver “Gurus.”

5. When the smartest guys in an industry start telling you, “This time it’s different,” it’s not. It’s just a top.

Okay, so you made it to here. Are you wondering if this guy is right? Are you wondering if silver is a bad ‘investment’ Are you confused?

Bob Moriarty, while writing a long, somewhat logical argument against precious metals, he has omitted some key points that we, as Silver Vigilantes, have used as our primary reasons for buying precious metals.

1) Bob has failed to address the naked short positions that JP Morgan Chase holds in the silver market. They use these weapons of mass financial destruction to artificially keep the price of silver lower than it would otherwise be in a true free market. Why is SLV lower than the actual metal? Using Bob’s logic he would have you think that because SLV is worth less than the spot price of actual silver, that the paper is the true value of silver. This is delusional. As Max Keiser says, he suffers from Stockholm Syndrome. He is in love with his captors.

2) Bob has failed to address the COMEX settling contracts with cash + 25% bonus because they do not have the metal to pay. Further to that, if you refer to my article Harvey Organ Reveals Scotiabank Bankster Activity in Canada that I wrote on January 13, 2011, you will see that there are shady dealings in the silver market, due to short supplies.

3) Most importantly Bob has failed to address the impending collapse of the US Dollar because of the FED flooding the market with fiat to keep the economy propped up. In so doing, inflation is driving the cost of everything up, all the while eroding savings in US Dollars. He makes the fundamental mistake of viewing precious metal through fiat colored glasses. He does not address precious metals being a hedge against inflation through currency devaluation. Something that has been the case for a few thousand years.

4) Bob does not address the insatiable appetite that the electronics and weapons industry has for silver. The Industrial demand for silver is growing, thus dramatically reducing the above-ground supplies of physical silver.

5) Bob does not address that the silver market is now global. Some of the largest countries, population wise, now have more disposable income and are buyers and consumers of silver. Yes Bob, China and India buy a lot of silver.

DUMP SPROTT PSLV – THE PREMIUM IS TOO HIGH!

Now with respect to the Sprott Physical Silver Trust NYSE: PSLV and TSX: PHS.TO. I agree with Bob on this product being overvalued. The premium is too high. When a person is paying approximately $1.24 for $1.00 worth of silver, that is a premium that is too high. Sprott Physical Silver Trust is not a scam but it is a victim of its own success. While a premium above spot price is expected 20-25% is too much. I did hold positions in PSLV and PHS.TO but sold them. I got in at a price of $12.59 and cashed out at $22.70. You do the fiat math…a nice tidy profit. If you listened to Bob you would buy bonds or mutual funds or some other paper shit investment vehicle. Lucky for me I am taking my paper profit and buying more physical silver and some living off of the grid supplies.

Lastly, I challenge Bob Moriarty to come clean on his motives for his article. He has gone to great lengths to bash silver and gold bugs. Why? How many short positions does he own in paper silver? I would suggest that when silver tops $100 he will still be on a rant about how silver is overpriced. He does not understand that silver does not go up nor down in value…it is the manipulation of fiat paper and expression silver’s worth in fiat that changes. The value of silver is fixed. The value of paper is an illusion. HE REALLY DOES NOT GET IT.

Before I end this you should know that I expect dips in the price of silver in the coming weeks as the fraud in the paper market attempts to drive down the price. That is when I will enter into a strong buy position as I continue to convert all of my wealth to physical silver bullion. In the meantime I will leave this little bit of education from Mike Maloney for Bob. I can also recommend a good therapist to talk you down from your brainwashing.

London Source – Asian Buyers Will Take Silver Over $100

KWN’s London source has updated King World News on the massive Asian buyers which have been accumulating gold and silver. The London source stated, “$3 to $4 dollar days in silver will become common, from now on $2 days will be considered slow. There will be a great deal of volatility going forward, but more often than not silver will close near the highs.”

The London Source continues:

“Right now the silver shorts are being flushed out in Asian trading on light volume and we have options expiration ahead of us. 38,000 silver contracts are in the money and the question is how many will ask for delivery?

As I mentioned to you previously, the Asians have also been taking delivery of silver out of SLV and will continue to do so. You have to understand that these Asian buyers are planning to take delivery of all of the available physical silver they can get their hands on and will continue doing so for the foreseeable future.”

When asked at what price the Chinese will stop buying silver the London source replied, “The Chinese want out of dollars and they will continue aggressively purchasing both gold and silver in order to diversify. They don’t care whether silver is $50, $60 or $100, they will just continue accumulating. The Chinese may be patient buyers, accumulating on weakness, but you can bet that their relentless purchases of physical silver will eventually push the price well over $100 an ounce.”

As Dan Norcini and I discussed this weekend on the KWN Weekly Metals Wrap, the Asians are steering the bus in the silver market as the paper shorts lost control some time ago.

Over the past hour Zero Hedge has been inundated with reader comments notifying us that Ampex has, validating the earlier post speculating about a possible silver shortage at the metals distributor, launched a “reverse ïnquiry” in which it will pay “you $3.00 over the current spot price of Silver for your Silver American Eagles. ANY year, ANY quantity!” and “We will pay you $38.00 over the current spot price of Gold for your Gold American Eagles. ANY year, ANY quantity!” So aside from this first public confirmation that one of the biggest wholesale retailers of precious metals is now inventoryless [sic], we can certainly see why Asia has decided to take silver down in the afterhours electronic session.

But in Bob’s world this is a conspiracy theory, a figment of my imagination. Nothing to see here. Carry on as if you were normal!

Protests inspired by the revolt in Tunisia have dominoed along Egypt, Yemen and Algeria with citizens calling for governmental change. Webster Tarpley, an investigative journalist, argues the CIA, and other intelligence services from the US and other former colonial powers are behind uprisings in Egypt and elsewhere in the Middle East.

As I type this is spreading fast. Jordan and Saudi Arabia are now having a massive uprising. The common theme of the local Muslim populace is. We have had enough of being ruled by dictators who are in bed with America.

My only question is when will this hit the shores of North America? Who will fall victim to a massive uprising against Banker Occupation? Will it be Mexico or the USA first? Canada will be third and their only saving grace is that they will get to see it coming.
