I hate pop-up ads but I kind of like peeler pages. For those of you that do not know what a peeler page is, you can see one in the upper right hand corner of the home page of this site. Hold your mouse over the little page peel in the right hand corner and watch how it grows and changes, revealing what lies underneath. Too cool. Unlike the much maligned pop-up ad, this form of promotion is eye catching. You only see the ad if you want to.

The software I use allows you to place the peeler in any corner of your pages. Although I don’t recommend it, you can use up to 4 on every page.

I think that more than one gets tacky in a hurry. I used the top right because that is how we normally turn a page.

I bought this software to promote a new online social networking site, uVme, and to set up a unique way to promote on my blog. At check out they asked if I wanted to buy the resell rights to it, and I said ’sure’. Figured I would try and make some money on it.

For resellers, it took me about 4 hours of solid work to get it working properly. That is crazy. Anyway, now that I have gotten through the process, I can run through it in an hour or so. There is a lot of copying and pasting to set up links to payment gateways. If you don’t do it the manufacturer will get your sale because it is filled with their links.

I added a permanent page to the blog to headline this feature. In there, when you buy the software from me, I have made and offer to install single licenses for free. Check it out if you want to read more on this.

If you are totally sold on it then go to my payment gateway. The retail price is $37.00. Make sure to read it over and MAKE SURE to click the peeler in the right corner. It will knock down the price by $10.00 to $27.00. It is the developers little marketing trick to make you feel good about saving money.

Personally I would have paid $100 dollars for this without batting an eyelash but hey I am not complaining.
