I have registered with the ClickBank. But after reading all the negative things about CB, can anyone tell me what the best alternatives to CB are?

Thanks for this. There is a lot of valuable information here for us newbies. One guy on here makes 100k per month from Clickblank? I can only dream. Seriously though if what you guys are saying is true and this article has been available since Feb 2009 how come these guys are still in business 2.5 years later? I know that if I was being robbed like you guys claim I would be freaking.

CB will feed you a few sales called "dangling a carrot" in your face. They feel if they send you a few sales periodically you'll be satisfied and stay on with them. CB should star in their own reality show and call it "Masters at Trickery and Bribery".

Wow, a lot of this stuff way over my head but glad I found this site. I finally reached payout a few weeks ago. Whew! But felt something was fishy with CB, (my stats are crazy) so I lucked on this site and others. Glad to know I'm not crazy! I felt CB was stealing my sales. I get 30-40 hits a day and go weeks without a sale. CB gives me headaches. I'm going to cancel my account; this really isn't worth it. This is a load of crap. I market another program outside of CB and even though I make only about $100 a week, it's a lot less stressful. I'm developing an ulcer dealing with CB. I'm seriously considering selling my computer and get back to nature; I miss fishing, gardening, and living on a farm. It's better than dealing with CB, and I'll probably live a lot longer. When I think about CB, corrupt and greed come to mind, so I know I will have to sever ties with those greedy suckers.

Hello
Seems to me if clickbank had responded they would virtually admit just by responding they were/are? in the wrong.
not good grammar...
lawyers cost! if they replied to your missive in any way without consulting then they might have put the guilt to paper. if they are guilty. that is.
What gets me is the "charges" that cost to belong.
Power goes to the head. it corrupts absolutely.

And BTW, EVERYONE needs to file a Ripoff Report at http://www.ripoffreport.com.

I'm in the process of composing mine. Want to make sure it really illustrates how their contract is crafted to "sew up" opportunity seekers.

Ripoff reports come up high on search engines. Enough ripoff reports and the story will explode. I wonder if 60 Minutes might be interested.

I find it hard to believe there is no class action suit going against these scumbags. I very quickly saw this whole thing was a big shell game and am only out $26.95, but I want to see these sonofabitches taken down.

The basis of these "customer distribution requirement" and "dormant account" policies are clearly and unquestionably fraudulent, especially in light of their stating it is "free" to be an affiliate. Obviously not free if they require a minimum of 5 sales to be paid anything.

The whole thing is crafted to keep pathetic chumps slaving away for $2 per hour (if they get paid AT ALL) to make millions for Clickbank.

This company has to be taken down, and their honchos jailed, with their assets confiscated.

People may think there's no chance because of the contract, but that is not the case. I've seen other companies pulling similar scams taken down and the head culprits jailed :) after it is demonstrated their contractual chicanery accounts for a substantial percentage of their profits. Doubt me, do a search on "Enelow real estate scam," to cite one that made news in the real estate community.

Please post updates on any class action suits, if any. Administrator, feel free to email me with such updates or to get one started if by some amazing lack of mass cojones no suit is in progress. I do not want my email address or real name displayed because I'd put nothing past them.

Rest assured, if there is no suit in progress, some attorney WILL take it on, seeing the millions that are in the pot. I'd be happy to get it started. Perhaps this site could be used as a conduit to join forces, and gather information, using "new affiliates". ;)

Yeah, Clickbank is absolute scum, I have no idea how they are still around. It would be one thing if affiliates actually drove quality targeted traffic, but unless you are selling snake oil, it won't happen. Better, more accessible solutions out there, avoid CB at all costs.

Hi, I am a new CB affliate. I came accrossing your site by accident. I was having trouble with my hoplink ID in the CB payment form. I noticed that my CB hoplink would show up when you licked on the link, but when I tested it by clicking on the "Add to Cart" t see if my affliate ID showed up at the bottom of the payment form I noticed it was not there.

I was looking for a way to fix this problem. I wrote CB support but I did not receive a response.

If CB is not a good place for us new affliates, can you recommed other places for new afflicates like myself?

PS. I am glad I did find your site before putting in time, enery and money promoting clickbank affliate products.

Thanks for your answer in advance about other affliliate programs to look into.

In my experience clickbank is hands down the scummiest, most rip-off, steal your money, do anything to keep you from the money you've earned WORST ever affiliate program and worst support, worst everything I have ever encountered short of cookie stuffing and commission stealing -- oh wait, they do that too!

Why isn't there a class action lawsuit against them for all the STEALING of affiliate commissions and conspiring to cheat affiliates by their mafia like usurious creative accounting? THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!

I hope they burn in affiliate H3LL and experience the worst possible punishment and lifelong curses for their lying cheating scumbag ways and it won't be soon enough.

Same here although under the new CB reporting system I've had days of up to 30+ "order form submissions" and 0 sales. Then after a day or two, same campaign, stats show 0 order form submissions with more traffic. And days of 2 order submissions and 2 sales. WTF? I've written support many times about this issue and their reasoning if faulty at best.

It is a shame and I feel sorry especially for newbie's who work very hard only to see their efforts and hopes stolen. I'm dumping CB also... Adsense is more work, but at least they don't steal from me.

I almost wish they were more sneaky about it though... It kind of insults your intelligence when they make it so obvious like that.

This is an email I sent to click bank after learning that I made all this money and yet I still haven't made the CDR after 10 sales. I thought it was 5 because I didnt understand the CDR until I read it properly.

------------------------------------------------------------
Subject: Payment Inquiries

Questions:
Hi,

I have been working hard to get affiliates for a program on click bank, and it seems I still haven't met the CDR. I have 10 sales yet it says I need 5 different credit card numbers, from Visa MasterCard and PayPal.

Can you tell me what cards have been used so I can tell the next person I refer to my program to use something specific. Its obviously hard for me, since everyone is using PayPal. I will never get my money. And I spent thousands to attain just 1000$ from click bank...

Can you help me? I feel duped a little.

Thanks

MyName

------------------------------------------------------------

And this is the reply I got:

------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,

I have overridden the CDR requirement and you will be issued payment on our next payout date.

Thanks,

Her name here.
------------------------------------------------------------

THEN, I got another sale (but I changed my threshold for a theory of mine). THEN, it said they sent me a check for 90 odd dollars. THEN I was wandering, "WELL WTF about the other money under all that?

So I sent them another email saying this (although this email doesnt have anything to do with my other money because I thought it would be coming.)

------------------------------------------------------------
Hi guys,

Just wanted to know how come you minus 1$ from me for 3 payments even though
sales were made only a maximum of 13 days? Are you telling me you deduct my
hard earned money if I don't make sales within a week of the last sale?

2009-05-27

2009-06-10

2009-06-24

The maximum with no sales was 14 days apart. Its obviously less when you
start thinking an account is dormant.
Thanks

MyName
------------------------------------------------------------

NOT ONLY did I find out about these prix leeching my so called dormant account, but check this out..

Have a look at those dates......NOTICE anything funny??????

EACH one is EXACTLY 14 days apart...What a load of shit...Coincidence? I think NOT..

Their reply. This time from Click bank and not a person.

------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. You have not been issued a check because your account has not yet met our "Customer Distribution Requirement", which states that Click Bank accounts cannot be used for the sole purpose of collecting rebates or otherwise extending credit to yourself or others. In compliance with US law, Click Bank will withhold payment of any account balance until the following criteria is met:
* Sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers and
* Sales made with two different payment methods (either Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal). Note: PayPal purchases do not count toward the minimum 5 different credit card numbers. Re-bills and refunded sales do not count towards the requirement.

This requirement is in place to help prevent affiliates from abusing the Click Bank Affiliate Program by using their accounts for the sole purpose of collecting rebates and/or discounts on their own Click Bank purchases.

Please note that once you have met the Customer Distribution Requirement, the full balance from your account will be paid on the next check issuing date. Also, please keep in mind that you only need to meet the Customer Distribution Requirement one time per account (not per check).

Accounts with a positive balance but no earnings for an extended period of time are considered dormant. Dormant accounts are subject to a charge of $1 per pay period after 90 days of inactivity, $5 per pay period after 180 days of inactivity, and $15 per pay period after 365 days of inactivity.

------------------------------------------------------------

And here's my reply to that:

------------------------------------------------------------
So why did a (Ladies name here) there say she had overridden the CDR on my account?

Guess what happened? hours later? No more replies, but....

I bumped my threshold to 100$ because I thought well damn, its obvious they only send me 50$ at a time and not all the other money I made previously, maybe they will send the rest later?. (around 600$) So I thought well, Ill make it 100$ per check.

BUT, it had nothing to do with it, the reason they didnt send me any of my previous money was because it STILL had CDR in the status column...............

So, the lady who lifted my CDR requirement only did it for future payments...All that other money is theirs now...I bet, I will never get it because I didnt meet the CDR then, and then the CDR was lifted. So if the CDR is lifted, that means that the system thinks that I have made the CDR and now doesnt show CDR anymore for future sales I make...So how the hell can I get my money in CDR..Its in the hands of real people now and not a program...

NOW guess what happened....

I made ANOTHER sale the next day...And I met the threshold again, and they sent me a check for 90$ odd dollars and stealing 10$ of it for some unknown reason...

+ they have been -ing my money 1$ even though I have been making sales and my account wasn't dormant...as above. 1$ for a few, the 2.50$ for 1, then 10$!!!!! for 1!! even though I made a sale in 1 day of the last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!READ your own TOS CB......

NOW guess what's happened?

I haven't made one sale in 2 weeks, and yet, my analytics say that over 690 people in that 2 weeks stayed on my website for over an hour....BS I didn't convert 1 soul out of them..The program converts like hell...I know something is up...I use the encrypted links too so I can get hijacked...Made sales with them encrypted links, so I know they work..

What's the bet, in 2 more weeks time, Ill get another sale? and they will also say my account was dormant so they can minus my account again...and again...and again...+ steal 99% of my sales every month.

This is what Im going to do...Tell them straight up I know someone there is taking my money, and I want it to stop, or else...I invested too much money and time to get kicked in the nuts like this...

See what they say then....I won't be closing my account just yet, I want to see if my theory is correct..

OH, and here's another kicker...Click Bank claims that their system is run by a program..If that's true, how come they can override the CDR for me and change shit around? If they can do that, then they can put sales I made (or we make) into their own accounts, which Im sure they got setup via someone they know or themselves under and alias...this is how I know they are shifty, because they said Click banks automated and can't be manipulated..

Sorry to hear about your ordeal MadApe and others.

This is an email I sent to click bank after learning that I made all this money and yet I still haven’t made the CDR after 10 sales. I thought it was 5 because I didnt understand the CDR until I read it properly.

————————————————————
Subject: Payment Inquiries

Questions:
Hi,

I have been working hard to get affiliates for a program on click bank, and it seems I still haven’t met the CDR.

And I spent thousands to attain just 1000$ from click bank…

Can you help me? I feel duped a little.

Thanks

MyName

————————————————————

And this is the reply I got:

————————————————————
Hello,

I have overridden the CDR requirement and you will be issued payment on our next payout date.

Thanks,

Her name here.
————————————————————

THEN, I got another sale (but I changed my threshold for a theory of mine). THEN, it said they sent me a check for 90 odd dollars. THEN I was wandering, “WELL WTF about the other money under all that?

So I sent them another email saying this (although this email doesnt have anything to do with my other money because I thought it would be coming.)

————————————————————
Hi guys,

Just wanted to know how come you minus 1$ from me for 3 payments even though
sales were made only a maximum of 13 days? Are you telling me you deduct my
hard earned money if I don’t make sales within a week of the last sale?

2009-05-27

2009-06-10

2009-06-24

The maximum with no sales was 14 days apart. Its obviously less when you
start thinking an account is dormant.
Thanks

MyName
————————————————————

NOT ONLY did I find out about these prix leeching my so called dormant account, but check this out..

Have a look at those dates……NOTICE anything funny??????

EACH one is EXACTLY 14 days apart…What a load of shit…Coincidence? I think NOT..

Their reply. This time from Click bank and not a person.

————————————————————
Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. You have not been issued a check because your account has not yet met our “Customer Distribution Requirement”, which states that Click Bank accounts cannot be used for the sole purpose of collecting rebates or otherwise extending credit to yourself or others.

And here’s my reply to that:

————————————————————

I don't like to brag. Plus I really don't know what I would tell people. Maybe one day I'll take a picture of a clickbank check, put it up somewhere and tag it so that google images indexes it. If it gets a lot of traffic I'll build a website around that.

You could probably double, maybe even triple, that if you went public, offering your own product(s) on how to be a successful online affiliate marketer.
