It is amazing what politicians will do to get elected. They can lie, steal, and cheat to get the almighty vote .

Case in point: The Dishonorable Premier of the Province of New Brunswick, Shawn ‘The Con’ Graham.

In an effort to get elected he promised New Brunswick Silviculture Workers and Marketing Boards a $2 million / year increase in funding bringing it to $10 million annually. Further, he guaranteed this level of funding for a 10-Year period.

WOW! Thank you Mr. Premier. You got our vote. Congratulations on your new majority government.

WAIT! What’s that? You have decided to decrease the funding by 50% bringing the it down to $4 million annually? Damn…that was a slap in the face.

OUCH! What was that? You have more? On top of your slap in the face you kicked the workers right square in the nuts for good measure? Thank you Mr. Premier can we have another?

TELL ME SHAWN, The Con. Why did you increase owner contributions from 20% to 80%? You thought it would stretch the funding further? Did you, in your ignorant bliss, fail to realize that no one can afford a 50% contribution?

YOU ARE A LIAR! You broke your campaign promise to the forest industry. You have screwed over the workforce. When everyone is gone and people are screaming for labor, whatcha gonna do? Bring in foreigners? Probably.

CONGRATULATIONS SHAWN, The Con. You have ruined the rural economy of New Brunswick and tarnished your reputation. What do you think will happen come election time? Oh I know…everyone will be gone to Alberta, and only your cronies will be left. That should get you elected again.

YOU SUFFER FROM THE PINOCHIO EFFECT - You have told so many lies that your nose has grown. It is what one would expect from an Irving Puppet. Perhaps you can cut a few cords off of that schnoz to supply their mill.
