The Flu

I have not been blogging a lot lately mainly because I have been battling the worse case of flu that I have ever had. A group of people that I work with all got it and I thought I had escaped it. I thought wrong. I was the lucky one who got it last.

I have been battling 39-40 degree Celsius (102-104 F)  temperatures, chill, sweats, diarrhea, congested head and chest for two weeks now. If my co-workers are any indication, I have about 2 more weeks of fun ahead of me. I have never been this sick for this long in my life and every time I try to get back to a regular routine I get hit with a rash if any of the above symptoms.

Sleep has only been possible using NyQuil. Ahh…sweet NyQuil, an elixir of the PhramaGods. It knocks me out in about 10 minutes. I have to wonder at what point I become addicted to it?
