Posted by The Mad Ape as Contests
A blog wants to promote itself and its business directory sites. In exchange for blogging about their site and the contest they are running for the month of February, you can win $500.00 plus a BFG NVIDIA Graphics Card…like I know what that is.
It sounds important so it must be worth a couple of bucks on eBay.
So what is the catch?
Simple rules really:
1) Link to their contest page so that others will know how to join. – CHECK
2) Link to www.business-directory.com – CHECK and write about their February promotion. Ok AHEM AHEM…All submissions to their directory are free for the month of February – CHECK
3) The blog entry must be original, not a cut and paste job, and at least 250 words long.
So I guess I have to keep on writing….phew…ok…The winner will be chosen using some sort of randomizer thingamabob which I don’t quite understand, but that is ok…it is supposed to keep everything fair and on the up-and-up.
In all seriousness…it seems like an easy contest to enter and a well used method to promote a blog. Hopefully they live up to their word and pay out as advertised.
The name of the blog is www.businessblogger.net The blog offers a lot of information about blogging, branding, business, business web development, contests (duh), domain names, humor, internet marketing, linking strategies, motivation, seo, traffic generation, and WordPress.
The blog may be lacking in the design department but having read some of the content the people behind the site seem like a knowledgeable bunch.
There that more than meets the 250 word count minimum…I am in the contest now! YEAH! YEAH BABY!
