I have continually been frustrated by limits of my theme and have finally taken the plunge and purchased a theme that will expand the capabilities of this blog. I was going to shut Tatumba down while doing the changeover but have decided to stay open while doing renovations.
There may be brief periods of downtime and screwy looking screens so excuse the mess while I get this thing tweaked.
Up until now I have been using a customized version of WP-Multiflex-3 1.3 by Ainslie Johnson . It has been an easy theme to work with but to get it just right, I had to do a lot of tweaking. I have been able to manage, but for the most part it has held me back.
For example my sidebars and content area are too narrow. For the life of me I can not understand why most blog themes are wasting space. Anyway that is another topic for another time.
This new theme, although better, is still not everything I hope for, but until I can create my own customized theme from scratch it will suffice.
Welcome to Tatumba.com Version 2.0
