We conducted this interview to inform people living/working in the Gulf (especially BP clean-up crews) about what they’re being exposed to; in the air, water and on the beaches. We can no longer depend on The EPA (our Government) or BP to inform us of the hazards from the oil spill and the nasty dispersant Corexit that’s being used in unprecedented amounts. Please spread this short film far and wide and know there are people out there that do care about your well being. CEO of The Environmental Health Center Dallas, Texas, Dr. Rea is one of the few medical doctors in the US that knows how to reduce the risk of being exposed and what to do once experiencing signs of exposure from the toxins in the Gulf.

@Charmer4856 agreed! but it is a very hard decision to just get up and take a completely new course in life. people are naively comfortable with the present situation if it isn’t noticeably affecting them in the short term. (coal miners don’t develop symptoms for years) isn’t it presumably obvious that if everything else is dying around you, you might be too!

I dont know why people need to have things spelled out for them everytime…if the damn EPA says the levels are way way higher than normal then ur getting sick period…why do u have to wait for the symptoms to show up?

People can google the MSDS for each chemical he list for more info on the limits of exposer, effects to health, etc.

IT’S TNT EXPLOSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sulfuric Acid + Nitric Acid + Toluene = Tri-Nitro-Toluene

A.K.A. = TNT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOx from burning crude degrades into Nitric Acid in the atmosphere (acid rain) which rains on the seawater. BP sprays COREXIT which contains sulfonic acid that degrades to sulfuric acid in sunlight + all the sulfides from the natural gas. This mixes with Toluene hydrocarbons in the “oil” creating Trinitrotoluene via nitrification.

@ChadLand011 – that is interesting. I would love to know what other countries are saying/hearing about all of this. Information about the Gulf is next to impossible to come by in the US. That is why I am so incredibly thankful for people like jamescfox and his crew. If it weren’t for YouTube, we would know almost nothing about what is really happening!

we here in Canada are scared for the people living near the Gulf. Get out now, we get US and Canadian News and you are not getting the same information we are. We seem to be getting a more honest view of this and if it was my family, well i’d be heading as far away as I possibly could. I’m not a religeous person, i’m an honest person, head north because there’s nothing good coming. It really sucks but go now. I truly feel bad for all of you but we haven’t even seen close to the worst.
