Good luck in finding more junk silver. From now on, when I get rolls of quarters from my bank. I take a real good look at them.

I think silver coins are a fine thing to collect. I’ve always picked up silver objects for nearly free, because they are useful and pretty. That stuff is not tradeable on an easy basis but can be sold for scrap within a short period of time. I’ve also found it pretty easy to find jewelry of platinum, etc. When I get tired of this stuff, it makes a nice quality gift! Greetings from France.

Good Video, Good Advise ! It is hard to find Silver ones anymore but they are out there, definetly work a look, costs nothing. A quick way is to pick up a stack of coins the same (i.e. quarters) and hold them on the side, all the CuproNickel coins will have a copper stripe of the edge, all the silver ones will have a dull tarnished silver colour. You can then confirm this by checking the date after, saves checking the date on every coin.

I wouldn’t be surprised if half these news presenters are up to their necks in the buy-to-let mess….so any kind of good(not so bad) news = house price’s are going up…buy sheeple buy…get on the property “ladder”. Shame their ladder is going to burn to the ground, just like all this fiat currency!

Good job Bubble!! Your video’s beat a lot of that S*it the Illuminati stick on tv, which they use to brainwash the sheeple with! Over here in the U.K 1 of the banks figures showed a rise of 0.9% in house price’s yesterday, some of the news programs had estate agents on them (experts my ass) saying recovery is here. lol. Today another bank posted figures of -1.9% for march, those stupid b*sta*ds who showed up yest should be fired… awe jeeeeeze

I was on bulliondirect’s website yesterday and noticed they are charging more for a $100 face bag of silver (71.50oz) than purchasing the same quantity of US Silver Eagles.

@catdog262 its possible, i found a silver quarter in my change the other day. if you go to a bank and buy rolls of coins, and unroll them look at each coin for the date and put asside the silver ones, and then when youa re done re roll them and bring them back to the bank you might find a few…

A prime choice for silver bullion coins with extra collector value! The Third Reich produced millions of 90% silver coins. Each Nazi 5 Reichsmark coin weighed 13.88 g and contained exactly 12.5 g of fine silver. Almost half an ounze of silver in each coin. These coins are still readily available today! And besides their inherant value as silver bullion, they are also genuine Third Reich collectables thus adding to their value!

1965-1970 kennedy halves are 40% silver. 1964 was the last year for silver dimes & quarters in USA.

1965-1971 should be 30% silver… Just something to think about as you check your change.

Junk silver is a GREAT way to get into silver… noticeably cheaper than getting silver bullion… I would get both bullion/bars and pre1964 us junk silver coins… also get gold. Collect scrap silver and gold and make extra money to get MORE precious metals.

Junk silver is actually selling for between 11 and 13 x face value as of now (March 14th, 09). But don’t worry, the price will go to 15x and well beyond, probably within the next few months.

Copper. Don’t forget about all those pennies, as we speak guys are filling 5 gallon buckets in their basements as you can buy a machine for about $250 that will separate zinc/copper pennies. I estimate within 10 years much of the copper pennies will be gone. To bad because the zinc pennies tarnish about 10 times as fast in my opinion, throw a couple of each for a day or two on a busy street and copper holds up pretty well compared to zinc.
