This time Max Keiser and co-host, Stacy Herbert, look at the scandals of security firms by day, terrorists by night and whether or not Erik Prince ‘needs a break from America,’ or broke America.

In the second half of the show, Max talks to Paul McLeary, a journalist specializing in defense, intelligence and military, about the arms race in the Arctic. Canadians will be sad to know that , despite all of Prime Minister Harper’s blustering over northern sovereignty, we are sadly lacking.

Max coins a new ‘Country Club’ called the A8 or Arctic 8, and hints that the USA and Canada may someday go to war over the North. The A8 consists of Canada, Russia, United States, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland.

Currently the Russian Federation has the most ‘might’ in the region with 13 ice breakers, of which at least 3 are nuclear powered. Canada’s fleet is aging, and the USA with only 3, of which a couple are in dry dock, leaves them sucking the hind teat.
