One of the more disingenuous frauds the citizens of the United States are being subjected to these days is coming out of the US Mint. For over 2 years the Mint has been illegally rationing gold and silver American Eagles and now the Director of the U.S. Mint, Edmond Moy, is finally on the hot seat.

“A congressional subcommittee has been asked to investigate the growing backlog in and foreign procurement of U.S. bullion and collectors’ precious metals coin blanks manufactured by the U.S. Mint.”

@kcirdrab I think the Feds would use force to try to stop that from happening. As a native Texan it is on my mind and it’s on the minds of many Texans. If we left the union, our currency would quickly eclipse the dollar (we have a balanced budget amendment to our Constitution). As you said, other sates would see how liberating it is to be separated from our Federal overlords. The feds would put up a fight because it would end them. I don’t think it can happen soon enough.

Kreiger’s trip to the “real” America included stops in Santa Fe and Jackson Hole. Only somebody from New York would call those towns the real America. Both are nice, but neither shares anything in common with Peoria, Topeka, Fresno or a million other places where real Americans live. Kreiger comes across like a pretentious, arrogant New Yorker. He’s clueless.

I love you Max, but this Michael Krieger is a douchebag with the ideology of a 15 year old. “We don’t need government or money, man – all we need is gold coins and self-sustaining communities of teenage girls making handbags.” Sounds great. @kcirdrab Radical… as in someone who doesn’t agree with you. Yeah. Sovereign people have government, it is called common law. In fact sovereign people have much stricter government, since you cannot get into a position of power and break laws.

@kcirdrab It’ll never happen. Lincoln crushed the free states notion pretty effectively last time, and the central government has taken over the public zeitgeist in America. People really want to be taken care of, and any thought to the contrary is villified and marginalized.
