Stockwire.com

Here is a new FREE site for you: Stockwire.com. It is a Facebook-type site for Investors or wannabe Investors. I joined and love what I see. It is very informative, a lot of interaction, and most importantly they have Stockumentaries.

I love new words and I love Stockumentary in particular. The folks at Stockwire evaluate a company and its feasibility as an investment. Here is a sample of a 2-part Stockumentary that is currently on Youtube.

It is a new restaurant chain called the ‘Spicy Pickle’. They are growing very fast and Stockwire is high on them. They say to buy now while in this rapid growth mode.

If you go to their site right now you will be informed of another huge investment opportunity in an a gold mine in Mexico.

I love this format of informing Stockwire members of great stock picks but Stockwire.com is much much more.

Investing 101

They have a whole section dedicated to teaching you to become a successful trader. If you are new to investing this section is a must. You will learn how to read balance sheets, understand acronyms such as GTC, AON, and FOK.

Another feature of the site worth mentioning is their virtual trading game. They will give you $25,000.00 virtual cash per month to buy and sell stocks based on real market conditions. You can prove just how good you are!

All you have to do to join this game is sign in to your Stockwire account and then click the ‘enroll now’ text located on the left side of the screen. You will then be presented with a screen where you can buy and sell stocks.

I have a feeling that this could get addictive in a hurry. You can take as big a risk as you want because the only thing that may get hurt is your ego.

Personally, I may toy with this part a bit but I do not have the time to take it too seriously. Time is a commodity that I cherish these days. I mean running a blog, my own off-line business, a small online business make for a dull Ape to Mrs Ape…if you know what I mean…

If you are an expereienced trader this site will give you an opportunity to share your expertise with others, perhaps driving traffic to your site.
