Is Israel manipulating media?

In many ways, public opinion is shaped by the media, so will the media coverage of the attack affect public opinion of Israel. The mainstream media has been pro Israel in the past but will that change now after the conflict on the Mediterranean? Danny Schechter says that Israel has targeted conservative media in America, saying that Israel is the victim not the Flotilla participants.

@Bligh1780 My friend, its most probable you are suffering from a Stockholm Syndrome. Not only you justify the 9/11 attack by Arabs on US, accusing US support to Israel, you are also deep under infuence of Arab intl proaganda that Israel is a killer and US support is the reason to it first place… Look, with or without US support Israel will survive, we simply dont have any options. You found your foe in Israel, but the real fight is cultural. Israel is merely an excuse for you and your kind.

It’s both politically and economically untenable for us to carry the burden of guaranteeing international protection for Israel, while the slaughter of civilians and the destruction of your neighbors infrastructure continues. Particularly if attacks on our country and it’s interests abroad should continue. Our ongoing international isolation and the real loss of traditional friends in Europe will also be a deciding factor. Israels intransigence and ongoing expansionism will probably doom us all.

@gldil, The “shock wave of an explosion” ie, the toppling of the World Trade Center and it’s aftermath in full view of my home was an event that brought your conflict to the United States. Try to be less judgemental and more honest in accepting the events that led to 9/11, specifically the peril and exposure to attack the United States is presently undergoing as a result of our unwavering support of Israel. Support for a foreign nation that’s resulted in irreversable changes to our lifestyle.

Is there any fact at all that’s in favor of Israel?
Here are some facts:
67 Muslim countries in UN can pass any anti Israeli resolution they choose to with no effective objections. UN human rights org is made up of undemocrtic countries infamous of their own human rights violations…. and still Israel is controlling the world… I can only wonder, how much Jihad cash finance this channel??

@mumpump: How the F would I have the unedited tape? Only the IDF has that, if it has already not been destroyed. What I do have is the common sense to know that the IDF is lying when it releases the “unedited” tape and it does not show one person being shot and we know at least nine were shot to death

@stasisr25 . Why would you believe that nonsense about paint guns? Why would they have paint guns? Why were none of the victims covered with paint instead of shot in the back of the head? How can you believe that an armed military boarding a Turkish ship in international waters under the cover of darkness at 4:30 Am in the morning, more than 50 miles from Gaza, that shoots over 30 people, killing at least nine, most with bullets to the back of the head, is the victim? R U nuts?

@Uncle99B on the flotila the soldiers had paint guns and personal gun for situations of threat on life. you think that this “peace activists” welcomed the soldiers with flowers? about “2006 summer massacre”, you buddy on cloud no.9. first, hezbolah lunched thousands rockets on israel from populated areas and therefore many people were killed. if someone lunch rockets to your city how you would react?

@Uncle99B knifes,clubs,axes,slingshots are cold arms which can kill. israel is independent state and if someone wants to pass through israel territorial waters israel has the right to check the ship. the terrorists refused to port in israel for inspection, why? if somebody intend to enter my home i will stop him before he reach my home. turkey’s PM was always hostile to israel and therefore he sent this ship to provoke israel and break the connections with israel but its their lost.

@stasisr25 A group of activists from several different nations, including USA, Israel, England, and Turkley among them, with no guns or other weapons, in interantional waters sailing legitimately under a Turkish flag, with approval from the Turkish govt after the boats were inspected to assure there were no weapons. You label these terrorists? You call international water Israeli territorial water? And you call others stupid?

@runelord37 this is completely rubbish about that israel dont allow supplies. check on the news sites about the supplies that israel give to them. about 100 trucks every day with humunitarian supplies. israel dont allow construction material to pass because Hamas use them for building rockets. and they know that if they declare war officially on israel the UN could not back up them and condemn israel. in official war everything is going and this bastards are afraid.

@stasisr25 how is that? you think its allright to starve their women and children. they are not at official war. they are in constant hostilities…but Israels not allowing supplies as it has not allowed for years prior IS an act of war. when you segregate a people and starve them…engage in border conflict to provoke response as it extremely apparent in most Israeli military action…wtf do you expect? i dont believe either side is correct….. but to not allow food supplies to the people?
